07-13,14* Silverado, Sierra OEM Backup Camera
This is a OEM (factory GM) backup camera kit with full chassis harness!
This is the GM alternative to our popular and less expensive CS-GMTR series camera kits for 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra. If you are a stickler for OEM, this is your kit! This rear view backup camera system includes replacement GM tailgate handle bezel with integrated Panasonic OEM-grade color rearview camera, and all vehicle harnessing. (This kit does not include the navigation radio or any monitor) When you put your truck in reverse, the monitor (not included) provides a complete view of everything behind your vehicle, with high-resolution Panasonic wide-angle camera. Compatible with all 2007-2013* Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 series models as well as 2014 HD models. This kit comes complete with factory tailgate bezel with integrated Panasonic wide-angle camera, shielded harnesses with RCA termination, and detailed instructions. Professional installation is estimated between 60-90 minutes. A "do-it-yourself" installation is estimated between 90-120 minutes. Both estimates do not include the navigation VSS interface adaptor (if required, see below) or other monitor installation. Professional installation is recommended.

2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, (2014 HD models) GM NBS trucks with or without locking tailgate.
Includes all the above model years Sierra, Silverado, Denali, and HD models.
If connecting to factory navigation on 2011 or older be sure to order the CS-GMVSS1 adapter. Will not interface hard drive navigation on 2012 and 2013 see note below.
NOTE: THIS CAMERA CAN NOT INTERFACE THE NEW HARD DRIVE NAVIGATION SYSTEM IN 2012-2013. It will work with any non-hard drive navigation system in 2007-early 2012 but you need to order the CS-GMVSS1 for integration.
Other integration options available:
CS-GMVSS1 - for factory installed navigation systems
CS-GMVSS2 - for factory navigation systems that were installed aftermarket (includes brown VSS connector)
CS-GMMBH - for 2010-2014 GM trucks that are prewired to mirror, allows you to tap into the mirror harness plug and play if installing video mirror. Requires blue wire and white wire in existing mirror harness
CS-GMMBH-P - same as above except for trucks with power sliding rear window
You will replace your factory tailgate bezel with the new bezel containing the camera. Since the bezel and camera are GM parts you can expect it to have the fit and finish that you would expect from the factory. This chassis harness terminates with a single RCA video cable so it can be connected to any monitor, including your factory navigation or video mirror (interface harness required see compatibility tab).
If you are planning to use your factory navigation radio as the monitor you will need to have it flashed for a backup camera by your dealer before installing this camera system. The dealer uses a Tech II device and they should flash part #2583-6479 to the radio, which should costs around $100.
NOTE: THIS CAMERA CAN NOT INTERFACE THE NEW HARD DRIVE NAVIGATION SYSTEM IN 2012-2013. It will work with any non-hard drive navigation system in 2007-early 2012.
The reverse activated power will be tapped into either the Lockpick (if applicable) or the junction box by the drivers left foot area. Detailed instructions are posted here to walk you through the process!
